Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my book adventures and life as a mom. Hope you have a nice stay!

Wooden's Apple House

Wooden's Apple House

Yesterday, we went to Wooden's Apple House. It took a bit of weaving on some mountain roads, but it is well worth it. As soon as you pull in, there are beautiful trees covered in apples. When you get inside the building, it is a fruit lover's Heaven. There are several choices of apples, gigantic peaches, watermelons, and many other types of produce. Before I picked up my peck of apples, we headed to the bakery area. They have fritters, cobbler, and pies. It was too early for lunch, or any serious desserts, but we got a peach icee which was wonderful! Upstairs they have t-shirts, handmade quilts, wooden furniture, and other types of gifts. The main reason I went was to get my favorite type of apple, the Honeycrisp. On our drive home, my daughter said, "This was the best day ever." This is definitely a must see, especially if you are in the mood for some cobbler and ice cream!
