The Cookie Jar Cafe
Dunlap, Tennessee has a country eatin’ gem stone. The Cookie Jar Cafe has the most exquisite view. It’s no wonder the front porch is loaded with rocking chairs. The restaurant opened in 2002 as a way to save the family farm. The yeast rolls alone would be reason to make the drive.
There was a short wait, so naturally we walked to the free petting zoo. There are several animals and two playgrounds. They have great set ups for Fall photos. The restaurant has a pavilion that would be perfect for a party.
As you can see, they have loads of homemade desserts. The cupcakes are out of this world and available in a wide range of flavors. Cookie Jars are displayed all throughout the dining room. You will be happy and full when you leave.
